Leapers – the online mental health support community for freelancers – is running a survey to investigate the relationship between self-employment and mental health, and need your insights.

Leapers is running its annual survey about the impact of self-employment and mental health. The aim of the survey is to better understand the challenges posed by self-employment, freelancing and running your own business to build better awareness and support for independent workers.

Last year over 500 respondents from the freelance community took part in the survey and helped Leapers support over 35,000 independent workers during the COVID-19 lockdown. This year they’re hoping to beat that number and ask as many people as possible a very simple question: How are you?
This year’s survey is larger and will undoubtedly show the impact of major changes in the self-employment landscape in the last 12 months, such as Brexit, IR35 and naturally COVID-19.
