The Event Freelancer Summit 2020 offers a full day of interesting and stimulating content for freelancers and other workers in the events industry.
The schedule features a keynote presentation from Simon Hughes, chairman of BVEP (Business Visits and Events Partnership), as well as a variety of talks and presentations from professionals throughout the events industry.
Insurance – What do I need?
The Create Insurance team will be running a session about the different types of insurance that events freelancers need. The aim of our presentation will be to explain what cover the different policies provide and answer any questions delegates may have about insurance.
We will discuss policies such as:
- Public Liability insurance
- Professional Indemnity insurance
- Equipment cover
- Employers’ Liability insurance
Our session will be chaired by our Partnerships Development Manager, Luke Perkins. Speaking ahead of the Summit, Luke said:
“I am looking forward to virtually ‘meeting’ all of the delegates at the Event Freelancer Summit and providing more insight into the benefits of insurance to those working in the events industry.
“We are very proud of our partnership with Connektd – which is going from strength to strength as a vital community for event freelancers – and we are delighted to be appearing at the inaugural Event Freelancer Summit”.
We will be taking to the virtual stage at midday on Wednesday 22 July, so we look forward to seeing you there!
